Soothr
$69.99
Soothr opened in the East Village in May 2020, at the height of the pandemic, starting out as a takeout and delivery noodle shop before growing into a full Thai restaurant. Chef Chidensee Wattanawongwat and partners Kitiya Mokkarrat and Supatta Banklouy built the menu around regional Thai noodle soups like Sukhothai-style tom yum, alongside curries, eggplant buns and chive cakes. The lantern-strung, wood-framed storefront became one of the neighborhood's go-to spots for Thai food and earned a nod from the Michelin Guide. In 2025 the team expanded to Long Island City with a second location and a hidden speakeasy.
