One If By Land, Two If By Sea is one of the oldest continuously running fine dining restaurants in NYC. The building itself dates back to 1767 and was once Aaron Burr’s carriage house. The restaurant opened under its current name in the early 1970s, and it’s been a West Village icon ever since.
